Yoga for Sciatica

There is hope for Sciatica pain sufferers! Sciatica is often felt as pain in the low back, buttock, and leg, and may be accompanied by numbness and tingling in the leg. In this workshop, Katie Choe will discuss the anatomy and biomechanics of the areas around the sciatic nerve so that you gain an understanding what can cause the nerve to become compressed. You will also learn a series of yoga postures that can help decrease compression on the sciatic nerve, as well as simple pain-relieving methods that can easily be performed at home. Instructor Katie Choe is a licensed Physical Therapist, a certified yoga instructor and a certified personal trainer. $30 (15% off for Marsh members)
