Mondays, 11:30 a.m. – Explore the movements and benefits of Tai Chi/Qigong, including enhanced flexibility, balance and agility, as well as lower blood pressure, improved heart health and reduced inflammation in this class. All ages and abilities welcome. Instructor: Dianna Pilkington
Wednesdays, 5:00 p.m. beginning September 26 – Join certified Tai Chi instructor Yingying Chen, DNP, RN, for this evening Tai Chi class which focuses on easy-to-follow exercises that enhance breath, balance and hand-eye coordination which are all beneficial to everyday activities. Ying, a registered nurse and Doctor of Nursing Practice, introduced herself to us as a guest instructor in August sharing her Tai Chi experiences from a recent trip to China.
Fridays, 10:30 a.m. – When Ruth opened The Marsh in 1985, she taught Tai Chi for Life classes inspired by her travels and learnings throughout the years. While she hasn’t been teaching weekly classes for some time, we have a library filled with videos of this amazing legacy. This month, our Friday, 10:30 a.m. class returns featuring small snippets of Ruth’s teaching. Join instructor Stephanie Olson for this class.
