No surprise… Our bodies change as we age. Some of those changes are too embarrassing to talk about in public. However, embracing these transitions, loving your “here and now,” is important to happiness. Women’s Health expert, Dr. June La Valleur, will discuss issues such as menopause, incontinence and intimacy, and provide actionable advice to empower women as they age with frankness and humor.
Dr. La Valleur is a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist (OB/GYN) who has received honors for her work in medical education, menopause and sexual health. Her career as a physician was at the University of Minnesota where she was an Associate Professor in OB/GYN and Director of the Mature Women’s Center. Dr. La Valleur is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Medical School and OB/GYN residency program. She has been the recipient of a Bush Fellowship and was the first recipient of the Early Career Distinguished Achievement Award from the University of Minnesota Medical School.
