In January, Exercise Physiologist Evan Strewler, M.S., led an informative session on Muscle Wisdom, The Missing Link to Weight Loss and Personal Empowerment. We learned how strength training a few times a week can change our metabolic rates, laying the groundwork for long-term successful weight management; as well as the importance of building strength to minimize osteoporosis and prevent/manage other diseases.
This month, Evan and a team of exercise specialists will host Muscle Wisdom in Action – an interactive circuit training session that will introduce (or re-introduce) your muscles to safe and effective strength training. With the ability to adapt exercises for your body’s idiosyncrasies, we are confident that you will have a great experience.
Please come with your questions and wear comfortable clothing. The goal of this session is for you to build a little confidence and realize that YOU CAN do these exercises… You can become stronger!
