Discovering YOUR Meditative Practice

The benefits of a meditation practice are often touted as a habit of happy people who mention it as a means of coping with stress and anxiety and their ability to live more joyfully. But where does one begin? There are a multitude of meditation practices… Transcendental Meditation, Guided Visualization, Qigong, and Mindfulness to name a few.
This four-week program, offered exclusively at The Marsh, introduces you to a variety of mindfulness-based living practices in a highly accessible way. You will develop and enhance your innate sense of consciousness to handle life’s challenges and the “moment-to-moment, non-judgmental awareness” for enhanced wellbeing. Nature plays a role in many meditative practices and we will utilize our outdoor space (trails and decks) whenever possible, so please dress appropriately. Join instructors Mary Anderson and Liz Anema and discover what meditative tools are best suited for you!
