Functional Movement Screening – cancelled

Thursday, 03/26/2020 2:00 p.m.

Cancelled (postponed to a later date) – Information Session: Thursday, March 26, 2:00 p.m.

As winter finally comes to an end this month, we are all thinking about getting strong and ready for spring activities – whether gardening, golf or a triathlon. Even if you have no current movement issues, assessing how well you move can prevent future injuries. The primary cause of injuries is neither weakness nor tightness, but rather muscle imbalance.  Join certified FMS Exercise Specialist Dustin Burgemeister, MS, for a demonstration of the Functional Movement Screen, and find out if it could benefit you. Complimentary

Functional Movement Screen
The Functional Movement Screen (“FMS”) is a trouble-detection system used by Marsh Exercise Specialists to prevent injuries before they happen. In this one hour service with a certified FMS Exercise Specialist, you will move through seven fundamental movement patterns to identify limitations and muscle asymmetries. After the screening, the Exercise Specialist will create an exercise prescription for a strong and balanced musculature – key to effective movement and injury prevention. $100 (60 minutes). Call Evan Strewler at 952-930-8512 to schedule.
