Pilates is a method
of non-impact
conditioning exercises to strengthen and stretch muscles and properly
align the body for functional movement. Pilates, appropriate for all ages and abilities, is designed to work the deepest muscles of the body to help improve our overall health and wellness. There are many benefits to practicing Pilates:
• Achieving long, lean, evenly conditioned muscles
• Increasing strength and muscle control
• Improving flexibility, stability, coordination
and balance
• Strengthens around the natural alignment of
the spine, improving posture and decreasing the chance of injury
