Pilates Group Reformer Classes
The Reformer is a piece of Pilates equipment which uses adjustable spring resistance, straps and platforms where you lie, sit, kneel or stand, allowing you to work from your core. Pilates exercises consist of a sequence of slow, rhythmic movements, emphasizing body control and breathing. As you develop body awareness and torso strength, increased coordination and control occurs. These Pilates classes will leave you feeling refreshed and energized. Experience is required for all classes with the exception of “Beginning Level”. Advanced registration required. Register on-line or call the Front Desk at 952-935-2202.
Pilates Mat Group Fitness Classes
Pilates mat classes are offered on our group fitness schedule:
Work from your center to promote balance, efficiency and ease of movement. You will learn a progressive series of abdominal and back exercises combined with controlled breathing.
Learn proper form and essential exercises from both Pilates and Hatha Yoga. The goal is centered strength and development of coordination, flexibility, balance, and mental focus.
GYROTONIC® Private Training
The GYROTONIC® Method is an original and unique movement method that addresses the entire person, opening energy pathways, stimulating the nervous system, increasing range of motion, and improving strength, and movement efficiency. With GYROTONIC® exercises, each movement flows into the next, allowing the joints to move through a natural range of motion without jarring or compression. These carefully crafted sequences create balance, efficiency, strength and flexibility.
