Planting: A Marsh Tradition
May 20, 2013

Monday, May 20
10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Each anniversary we honor
our outdoor environment by
replenishing the wonderful
marshland with native plants. Our location and natural setting
have been good to us, inviting us to focus on tranquility and
begging us to connect with the earth and nurture each other.
Last year we planted over 50 native species. You are invited
to join us in this year’s planting ... wildflowers, specially selected
for us by Ron Bowen of Prairie Restoration. Our gardeners will
be on hand to assist in the planting and answer your questions.
We will also have a limited supply of native plants available for
you to purchase, take home and plant in your own gardens.
