Living with chronic pain is an unrewarding series of doctor’s visits and internet searches. As part of the Physicians’ Lecture Series, these medical professionals really understand the frustration. They will offer new insights and practical ideas on how to not only make peace with your pain or illness but thrive!  This panel includes:

• Specializing in rheumatology, Dr. Asim S. Khan, MD, FACR will shed light on the causes and management of rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, fibromyalgia, and other connective-tissue and metabolic-bone diseases.

• Owners of Rheumatology Nurse Associates and fondly known as “The Fibro Nurses”, Julie Kelly, MS, RN and Greta Abruzzese, RN, CNP will explain how to manage chronic pain and discomfort that comes with a Fibromyalgia diagnosis.

• Doug Merz, RPT has been providing physical therapy services to The Marsh since 1994. He will talk about his unique approach to pain management that incorporates integrative practices.

• Kelly Brouwer, DPT specializes in advanced manual therapy techniques, functional exercise and dry needling for addressing pain management.
