Type 2 diabetes is a national epidemic. Approximately 29 million Americans have this type of diabetes, and over 84 million Americans are prediabetic. Type 2 diabetes, or adult onset diabetes, can largely be prevented by changing lifestyle choices.
Join Dr. Elizabeth Klodas for an enlightening discussion of how you can prevent diabetes by understanding your risk, your blood profile numbers and lifestyle choices that matter. Dr. Klodas illuminates the true power of food as medicine, and will discuss specific dietary choices that can help with both blood sugar and cholesterol, as diabetes and heart disease are often linked.
